The refurbishment, new ground floor extension and loft conversion to Victorian terraced home in Enfield.

A robust material language is established by continuing the existing brick in to the construction of the new ground floor extension, with fair-faced concrete lintels to above openings and to form deep reveals. The internal lime-slurried brick softens the robust material language within the new space at ground floor.

Due in part to a limited budget, the intention is for the owners to physically invest in the construction by undertaking some of the works themselves wherever possible.
